About Me
“Welcome to the place where shadows speak and light dances…”
From the East End of Long Island, I create still life art that explores the beauty and mystery of everyday objects. My journey began in 2024 with watercolor, but quickly expanded to include oil, pastel, and colored pencil – each medium offering a unique voice to my artistic expression.
It's been a journey of balance – trying to capture both the beauty and the mystery I see in these everyday objects. It's funny, right? A simple apple or a wilting flower can hold so much if you really look.
I'm a poet, a singer, a writer – and, yeah, an artist. For me, it's all connected. Each piece I create tells a story. It's not just about rendering what I see, but about capturing what I feel and experience. I want my art to be more than just a pretty picture. I want it to resonate.
I think art, at its best, highlights the overlooked parts of our inner lives. Through texture and shadow, I'm trying to find meaning in the simplest things. A chipped teacup isn't just a chipped teacup; it's a reminder of shared moments, of time passing, of imperfect beauty.
I'm inviting you into my studio, a space filled with simple objects that, through art, become meaningful. I hope my work inspires you to look at the world around you with fresh eyes, to find beauty in the everyday, and to connect with your own inner stories.
Thanks for being here, and I'm excited to share more of my journey with you.
