About Me

Welcome to the House of the Warrior Ewe.

This is where the raw, heavy parts of life are carved into something elegant, intentional, and beautiful. I believe that the dark isn’t something to fear, but a space to be embraced.

My identity as the “Warrior Ewe” is the heart of my work. It is a collision of my history and my spirit: a Warrior, like Joan of Arc, whom I have always looked to for strength, combined with the Hebrew meaning of my middle name, Rachel - which translates to “ewe” or “female sheep".” Put them together, and I am the Warrior Ewe: a seeker who walks a singular, untamed path and finds light within the shadows.

Just like my own story of recovery, my art evolves with each passing year. My work has moved from the soft watercolor washes and color explorations of 2024 into the technical grit of color pencils and linograph in 2025.

Now, in 2026, I am redefining my practice and pulling back the curtain. Through a variety of mediums, I am exploring my soul and deep questions about who we are and who we can be, examining concepts of identity - both past and present - and reimagining them through a refined gothic lens. I don’t just study these figures: I bring them to life, finding the story within the dark to reveal the truth beneath the surface.

I invite you to look closely - not just at the shadows, but at the resilience required to refine them. I invite you to find your own strength within my art. Get lost. Ask questions. Don’t be afraid.
